being a customer

hey all. if you like to eat subway, or just want to have a discount when u eat there, there's a free membership for club sub here. buy any 6" or foot-long sub and get a free upsize worth $2.70. i sound like im marketing some product. haha. just sharing la. lol.

oh oh. today after school i went with ber to buy her bag. there was 15% discount at zinc, and further 10% discount if you are zinc member, but we are not members. i remembered that stomp card got 10% discount also, so when we were purchasing it, i showed it to the china salesperson, but she say that don have discount for stomp card. i saw it on stomp, so i just told her, can i speak to your supervisor. (not harshly la, of cos. just wanted to clarify) then she believed me thou abit hesitantly, and didnt call her supervisor, so total ber got 25% off. LOL.

maybe some people will think that im being guo4 fen4, but it is the fault of the company that they did not inform their salespeople about their other cards that entitle discounts. and if you know that you have a right to something, why be afraid just because the salesperson does not know about it. even when i was working in *ahem* company, i didnt know about some of the promotions that the coy had until the customer approached me about it. so dont be afraid to talk to the salesperson's upper; cos you have a right as a customer to pay less, if you have the entitlement like a preferred card or something. i guess after being exposed to the working world, ive become less timid le. haha.
