im so in holiday mood. after econs i went to clubhouse and crapped with some of them. then went to amk hub to check out the kohjinsha. cause adding up the cost for a touchscreen and everything, the eee pc doesnt seem to be worth it anymore. just let u guy see la. i will postpone any plans of buying any laptop to april when the prices will drop.







































it's either the black or the white one la. both do not have internal dvd drive. one with a dvd drive just came out in japan; who knows when it will arrive in singapore. and i'd bet the price will be quite hefty too. lol. i sense that dvds and cds will be come outdated soon. doubt i will be able to afford the new generation one which comes with the drive thou.

im so hua1 xin1. go for eee then now go for kohjinsha. boohoo.

accounts is on thursday.. after that i'll be like, so super bored. have not secured a full time job yet. bleah.. now all the jobs are like $5 to $6 an hour.. very hard to find one which pays as well as my current part-time one.. and i dont feel like joining my company full time for this two months cause i wanna go and gain experience in other jobs. but whatever job it is, it seems that i tend to go towards the IT line.. i guess i cannot tahan sitting there from 9 to 5 and type stuff or do admin work. it'd drive me crazy.. IT feels like the only line which is challenging and pays reasonably well; for now.

so sad that my company doesnt sell kohjinsha.. blah..

hm.. im thinking it is a good thing im not working this wk and next. cause clearing stock at super low prices, which means not good profits at all. poor fish is very busy entertaining customers' enquiries, which are alot on weekends, and earning approximately basic pay only.

im gonna be so bored during the hols unless i faster find a full-time job.. and i just realised that my motivation to study for exams comes exactly one day before the exam itself. =D of course, i did study at work during the study week la.. dunno how much went in anyways. lol. but ok, at least i can confirm that i have passed fom and stats already. calculate here and there. just dont want to forward module. but for econs and pacc, im not on the safe side. esp pacc.

so much confusion with regards to my laptop.. i think even if i say what the problems are, you guys will go blur also. haha. so i don nid to say la. lol.. but whatever it is, just alot of things to consider. got price factor, touchscreen mod, availability of external dvd drive at promo price (which ended and im pek chek about), extended warranty blah blah.. confused rar... but compare here compare there, i think i learn more about marketing in my job and during being a consumer than i ever learnt memorising all that fom rubbish. but fom did open my eyes to alot of things. realise that george teo's modules are all very eye-opening. i guess it's the way he teaches? you can see the difference between him and other tutors la.

i want to wait for the 2nd gen of eee to come out then i buy.. but i nid it for 2nd yr le leh.. 2nd gen has touchscreen and 9" lcd screen. mine is only 7". ok i think some pple are drooping off to slp alr. haha.

i just finished reading a BOOK after 6 hours. goodness. still have time to read book?? hahaha. no mood to study. seriously. anw it's called 'doing it all over' by Al Steiner. the plot is seriously thought-provoking.. it's abt this guy who's given the chance to go back to his past and relive it again to prevent his sister's death, and at the same time, prevent other bad stuff from happening. some things he managed to change, but others he couldnt manage to. makes me think about how sometimes i wish i could go back to the past and change things. but then, given the current situation and 'fate', i wonder if those things were meant to happen, despite whatever i did. interesting story.. imagine if we could go back to the past.. i'll immediately invest in google shares. ^.^ haha.

stats exam over!! goodness. one big boulder off my shoulders. after exam, me and bernice went to junction 8 to relax and pig out. haha.

oh. then we saw this thing on a coco-something cereal box which said 'turns milk into CHOCOLATE MILK!!' diaos. it's chocolate cereal. of course it turns milk into chocolate milk. crazy marketing strategies they come up with to attract children. but, mostly cereal is bought by mums for their kids, who couldnt be bothered less whether chocolate flavoured cereal turns normal milk into chocolate milk, because it's common sense that it does. haha.

someone's offering a modification to the eee; TOUCHSCREEN!! that's nearly the only other thing i want after i get mine. other than ram and a laptop skin. we'll see in time to come.

im just so relieved stats is over. then come econs and pacc. goodness.

finally finished the two years' worth of stats past yr papers. somehow i get more confused as i do them. but like my past experience; i doubt even doing the papers will help me score better. thou they make me more comfortable with the way the questions are phrased. the questions in the ppt slides and those which come out on exam seem different somehow. those in the exam seem more complicated. and im still confused by stuff. doing more seems to make me more confused. goodness.

i cant believe i actually stayed in my room for like 6 hours plus studying and doing the papers. it's been EONS since i actually stayed in my room to do anything productive. my room is too comfortable to do anything else but sleep, actually. lol.

microware advertised today.. eee pc in stock.. arghh... but i already ordered mine which would come in the middle of feb. anw, if i got it today; i'll probably be too busy admiring it to study. lol.

im so sick and tired of studying. i really, really am. but then again, who's not.

marketing exam is over. which only means that stats is nearing. im so dead. i was feeling super nonchalant while taking marketing exam. the same way i felt during prelims and Os. it's like, exams dont have an effect on me anymore. as if i couldnt even be bothered. cause im feeling like a transparent wall, not a dartboard whereby the darts of exams previously gave me pangs of stress. now, just study and go. the exam room doesnt frighten me anymore. what's the use of being afraid. it doesnt increase your marks. exams are not a word i fear anymore. neither is presentation; for that matter. im getting so numb to this education thing.

on a lighter note. i finally managed to get my black pepper crabs. ^.^ believe it or not, doing that itab project had a subconscious effect on me. haha. i couldnt believe i craved for crabs ever since then!! haha. bought them from bishan which was twice more expensive as those from toa payoh; but mum and dad were feeling guilty that they had delayed buying them for me for very long already. hehee. cause dunno y, today the crab supplier in tpy didnt bring the crabbies. out of all the days. the crabs must be scared of me, knowing that im coming. MUAHAHA.

alot has happened emotionally for me this week. fish suddenly decided to dao me on sunday, leaving me totally speculating on how i had offended him. i was working with him on saturday and he was still ok you know. lol. after being worried for a few days, he finally said that he was just in a bad mood due to too much work. sheesh. wonder if guys are always like that. just like to withdraw into their caves and dont even say what's bothering them. make people around them speculate and worried only. it's like, tell me your reason and i'll understand and not bother you, but dont just suddenly dao people. scary de leh. lol im not typing this directed to him cause he doesnt read blogs. im just saying; are all guys that withdrawn when they're in a bad mood? and dont even wanna talk or let pple know why they're not speaking? another thing i dont understand about guys. lol.

im going crazy; reading up on everything and anything to do with my eee. touchscreen mods, bluetooth hacks, everything. somehow, reading up just helps me reduce that craving to get my machine. haha. oh; and blueray is pwning hd dvd leh.. warner bros just dropped it's support for hd.. hm.. kinda unexpected.. esp when i had thought hd was a clear winner given the amount of exposure hd gets compared to blu ray. oh well.

my resume is not being replied to.. goodness... if this is the case then there goes my holiday full time job. sadness... sadness..

study and i just dont go together. why havent i been updating? cause ive been working all week. while studying when there are no customers.

im getting so afraid of this lack of motivation to study. i absolutely cannot study when im home alone. or when im given an exclusive amount of time to mug my brains out; like during study week. i just get so pressurised that im supposed to mug all day. and if i fail to do so, i'll get stressed. arggghh.

i have no motivation left. and getting very scared that the worst will happen. no motivation left to pursue tertiary education. actually, im ok with studying at work. cause i feel like there's not much time left and hence i have to faster study before customers come in. nearly had a good mind to ask my boss if i could come in and work today. but there'll be too many people working, if i did so.

it's horrible to be an early bloomer. i just keep feeling that studying all these rubbish is so useless. but this mindset will only serve to disadvantage me. but after mugging all that o levels A math, chem and bio which i practically will not use, can i be blamed for feeling this way. goodness.

put a deposit for my new tiny laptop at funan today. stocks will arrive around beginning of next month. good enough. just after exams. anw im not rich or crazy enough to buy a new laptop when i already have one. the fujitsu is too heavy for me cause carrying it for long periods of time will make my knee joint injury worse. also, my part-time work's salary is enough to cover it. =) it's $598 with gst, just to let you guys know.

i seriously thank the school for:

-Putting in such a buggy system in our laptops
-For their need of obscure software
-For the negligence of telling us that we have to register for our extended warranty
-For not giving us the licence key to all the software installed in our laptops.

yeah. thanks alot.

wanted to buy the eee so that i dont nid to lug a 1.8kg laptop to school for lessons. end up i will have to either buy an xp pro license or clone my current harddisk, then load it externally on the eee cause it's linux. just tried to install acronis, but lo and behold, i dont have the serial number. in fact, i doubt it was ever given to us at all. and since i had reformatted my laptop, there goes any chance of me finding my serial number. so i have to email the IT staff to ask for it.

so that's the summary of my pc woes. all for the sake of not lugging a rock to school for lessons.

tired le. multi-tasked itab while working today; a little. too many people asking stuff.

fish's gross profit is still higher than mine. despite me being really fortunate to sell a toughbook with the highest gp amongst all the laptops. but sigh. today by mid afternoon my sales was so bad and fish had already sold 4 sets, until i contemplated quitting. lol... but i guess it's impossible to have great sales all the time. and considering that almost all the sales today was made by him. maybe sometimes im too hard on myself. or maybe it's just the nature of the job.

im super happy today. saw my darling eee pc for the first time. beauty. =D i shall buy it after school reopens in april. so that i can bring to school everyday. =DD then i will be a very happy girl. =DD

interesting day today. 3 sets. not bad sales today actually. expected the sales to be very bad. but apparently the demand for laptops in singapore is very high. feels constant, actually. scary. just thinking about the amount of electronic trash we generate.

me sleepy and tired already. but no mood to sleep. today had to install office for a customer until very late. cause i never uninstall the trial inside. so when i installed the full version, they crashed together. went home at like 9.45. goodness.

last week of school. sigh. time passes so fast. but i cant wait till april or may when the new generation of eee comes out, then hopefully by then i can own one. haha. nid to see what software the school needs us to have first.

finally finished the stupid flash. which looks ridiculously simple to make but i took hours, thanks to my flash being unable to save into swf, end up i had to reinstall and install again, but then it couldnt work so i had to install flash 8 instead. ughhhh.

goodness it's been long since i updated. cause something was wrong with my linksys router; then my dad went to buy a new one; forgot to change the settings to 'auto', so he ended up spending a whole day fixing the new router. haha. but finally it's up. =)
